Children's Ministries

Sunday School

Sunday school classes are provided for children through grade six in the elementary wing of our building (enter through the lobby and turn left). Memory verses and other take-home papers connect Sunday school lessons with daily life. Children are signed in by a parent or responsible adult and will not be released from class until that adult retrieves them.

Kids for Christ

During the regular Sunday morning worship assembly, an alternate service is offered for children aged 3 years-2nd grade. This allows parents to enjoy a peaceful time of worship while their kids have a Bible lesson, singing, games, and crafts. Children must be signed in to the Kids for Christ program and must be retrieved by the adult who signed them in.

Nursery

A staffed nursery is available during Sunday morning class and worship assembly time.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer we have a fun few days of VBS (Vacation Bible School) for children age 3 years- 5th grade. Come enjoy lots of singing, playing, good snacks and learning. Watch for dates as summer approaches.

Bright Beginnings Preschool

Bright Beginnings Preschool opened its doors in the Fall of 2006. With 2-5 days per week of classes for children ages 3-5, Bright Beginnings aims to prepare children for kindergarten by teaching to the mind, soul and heart. From time to time, we organize and participate in other activities for children.
They include, but are not limited to the following:
•Camp Yamhill summer camps
•Easter Egg Hunt
•Pumpkin Patch
•Harvest Festival
•Home school activities
