Outside the official ministries of the Vancouver Church of Christ, several groups use our facilities.
Many of these groups are organized and run by our members and most are open to new members.

| Book Club |
 Every Monday at noon, a group of readers gets together at the church
building to discuss a book that all the group members have read. If you’d
like to belong to a discussion group or are curious about the type of
reading materials covered, call Craig Brown.

|
Christian Writers Group |
 Think you have a book in you? Or a short story, a poem, or a letter to the editor?
Join this group of Christian writers at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.
The two hour meetings include time for a devotional, education on the craft and business
of writing, and a critique session for those who bring writing samples. If you are
interested in attending a meeting, please contact Betty Wyatt or Brenda Bray.

Clark County Quilters Guild |
Have you always dreamed of making a quilt? Do you admire the beautiful piecing
on quilts at the fair? Join the Clark County Quilters Guild on the second Thursday
of each month, September-May, for teaching and encouragement. Social hour starts
at 6:30 and the Guild meeting begins at 7:00.

Tae Kwon Do |
 Young and old, male and female, are welcome to participate in Tae Kwon Do.
Classes meet Mondays at 6:30 and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. and are taught by
Tony Graham, who holds a 3rd degree black belt in the sport. Contact him
for more information about price, time, and what to expect.

Walking Team |
| Whether you’re a serious walker or just like to get some exercise, consider joining the church walking team. Individuals train all year in preparation for the Portland to Coast walk each August. Talk to Bonnie Miller if you would like to join the team. |

Summer Softball |
| If you’re interested in playing co-ed softball in a church softball league, contact Josh Gonzales. |
