Sunday Morning Service Opportunities

AV Ministry
If you’re good with technology—power point, computers, sound systems, and more—you might like to serve in the Audio-Visual ministry. If so, please contact Jim Mitts.
Coffee Kiosk
Help Wanted: The crew at Sunday morning coffee kiosk is always looking for friendly, smiling helpers. Volunteering requires that you arrive at the church building to set up by 8:30 a.m. Clean up is finished about ten minutes after worship services begin. To sign up for a month as a “barista”, contact Lori Davis.
Communion Preparation
This is a great ministry for families. Sign up to prepare and clean up communion trays for a month. Your kids will love squirting the juice into those little cups! Talk to Pam Graham to volunteer.
Greeters
Donate your friendly, smiling face and your firm handshake to our Sunday Morning Greeters Ministry. Greeters are responsible for handing out the morning’s Life Lines as people arrive. Volunteers are asked to commit to work for a month at a time and must be able to arrive by 8:30 a.m. Contact Shelly Drew to serve as a greeter.
Kids for Christ
We offer an alternative Bible class for kids aged 3-2nd grade during the regular Sunday morning service. To volunteer to teach or help in this program, please call Barbara Barnes. All Kids for Christ workers must undergo a background check.
Nursery
An attended nursery operates during worship services for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old. Nursery attendants must submit to a Washington State background check. If you’re interested in helping with baby care, contact Mara Brown.
Prayer Chain
Several of our members are ready to pray for your needs at a moment's notice. If you have a prayer request that you'd like to put out on the prayer chain, contact either Pam Graham (686-0807) or Tammy Gower (835-0673). If you would like to join the chain, contact either of these two ladies.
Sunday School
From cradle roll through high school, all of our children have the opportunity to attend a Bible class from 9:00-10:15 a.m. Teachers usually commit to teach one quarter a year. If you are willing to be a lead teacher or assistant teacher, please contact Nancy Fancy. All teachers and assistants are required to submit to a background check for the safety of the children.
Worship Leaders
Every week, our worship time is led by men from the congregation. If you are interested in leading singing or prayers, sharing a thought for the Lord’s Supper, reading a Bible passage, or anything else during the 10:30 service, please contact Rosco Pirtle or any other member of the worship committee.
Worship Team
From time to time, our worship team sits together in the front rows of the auditorium to assist with the song service. Members of this team practice the songs together at special practice times. If you would like to sing on the worship team, please contact Don Foster for times and requirements.
